Dunkin’ on Georgia Tech Campus

If you are a Georgia Tech Student, you’ve likely been to the Dunkin’ Donuts on Campus. It is central, a short walk away from the library, the student center, and many other buildings, and best of all (in my opinion) it has plenty of seating for locking on and finding a study spot to sit at for a long time.

Study Vibe/Study Spots (8/10)

There is plenty of indoor seating with access to convenient outlets (especially for those of us whose devices are always running low). There is usually music playing and by no means is this a quiet cafe, but it is a good, clean, and studios place to work on campus. You will typically find students working on assignments or studying, and it can be motivating to see them around.

Additionally, Dunkin features multiple outdoor seating options, either right outside the cafe, or in a more graveled area with a view of the community garden. You can sit in the shade or in the sun, which is super super convenient if you are trying to get in your vitamin D for the day, or if you want to enjoy the weather outside. College students on campus can use this as a great coffee chat spot, a place to take a break in between lock-ins, or a place to actually lock in a LATTE and be ultra productive.

Drink Options (8/10)

Dunkin at the GT campus has 2 self-select stations where you can customize your drink right from the screen. It shows you prices of adding flavor swirls, different drink combos and options, available sweet treats, sandwiches, breakfasts, and more. It is a very convenient way to figure out what you want to try!

As for drink options, Dunkin has recently come out with protein milks, banana flavored matchas and coffees, and special edition drinks that did not exist in prior years. Dunkin also features its Dunkalatte coffee milk specialties, and endless options for both sweetened and unsweetened flavors to mix into your drink. If you prefer alternative milk options, many are available here as well to customize your latte.

My Banana Cold Foam Matcha Latte: I loved this, surprisingly. I am not a huge bana fan and my friend was worried my matcha would be artificially tasting like banana…. But honestly, the painting of the sweet fruity banana went really well with the tea flavor of the matcha. It was not 100% overpowering, and I could taste the matcha and I did not want my drink to end! I wanted more after I finished my small size drink, and it is a drink combo I will have on my radar for the future.

Picturesque? (5/10)

The interior and exterior of the cafe are not particularly picturesque, but rather, are neutral. It is a signature Dunkin location, with neutral walls and decor. The exterior features comfy seating, good natural lighting due to being outside, and a nice view of the garden that could be fun to explore and take pictures in.
